Matthew Joseph lives in the Pacific Northwest with his better half, Christina, their two kids Miles and Emma, and a couple of Pyrenees puppies Mav and Jack. When not in the office working on renewable energy projects, you can find him reading, writing, running trails, flyfishing, participating in long-distance endurance events, or chasing his kiddos and puppies around. He holds degrees from the University of Texas-Arlington and Lewis & Clark Law School. He can be contacted at Matthew@DrizzleTheDragon.com
Miles is an 8th grader in Oregon that loves football, basketball, and backpacking on the many trails throughout Oregon. When he isn’t stuck in a classroom, you can find him hanging out with his friends, outside enjoying the wilds of the Northwest, playing football or basketball, or on his Xbox.

This book tells a beautiful story about a father and son, how they navigate their relationship, and how they affirm and delight in their uniquenesses. When the son meets a dragon who, like him, might have skills that are less typical, he is quickly accepted. And, when those skills are needed, he is ready.
The story and the fun rhyme scheme make this great to read together! This book ABOUT a father/son adventure was written AS a father/son adventure. Beautifully illustrated too!
A book to be enjoyed by everyone. Great lessons for all, a heartwarming story about what really matters in this life and dragons! Who could want more?!?
